I didn’t think that explaining your identity through a post would be so difficult. I have been sitting here for almost an hour thinking of what makes me, me. There are many different things that have shaped me into the person I am today. I am viewed by many people and they see me different than the others. I am a daughter, sister, student, employee, friend, aunt, and much more. One thing that has recently become apart of my identity is photography.
Taken by me, 2015.
I took a digital photography class last year here at Bemidji State and I have fallen in love with taking pictures. We had to challenge ourselves to take pictures of many different things and I would have to say I always met the challenge. This picture was taken in 2015 and it was just lucky. I was driving out to my aunts house to take pictures and an Bold Eagle was sitting on the side of the road eating a dead deer and I pulled over as quick as I could. It was pure luck that I captured this shot of it right in the middle of these trees. I felt like I was actually good at something and I liked it.

After the course ended I was out of a camera for awhile but I have recently been able to save enough money to buy myself a camera! I can’t wait till I am able to go out and take more pictures. I have seen such great moments in the last few months that would look amazing captured in a picture. Pictures are truly worth a thousand words and I want to be able to make someone feel a thousand words with just looking at a photo of mine. So to leave this post #en3177, I will share some of my best photos I have taken. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. (all these photos are original, I got to edit them but saved them on a different computer. they look super cool edited)
All photos were taken by me, Melissa McNeill.
